From this Flickr set: “Images from Paris cafés and nightlife in 1962, the same week Yves St. Laurent’s runway show vaulted Dior to new heights. Many scenes around Les Halles (which no longer exists as it did then).”

La Perle is one of the most constantly busy bars in the Marais area, with crowds spilling out onto the street at all hours of the day until two in the morning. Known for it’s mod 80s orange leather banquettes and the electro-rock playlist, it’s been a popular spot for years for attractive young things to meet and flirt, 78 rue Vieille du Temple, Paris.
