Anna Bligh launches www.Anna4Qld.com.au (via annablighandlabor)
Welcome to Anna Bligh’s new blog - an important part of her new website, Anna4Qld.com.au.
Anna4Qld will help you stay informed about Anna’s plans for Queensland, with detailed policy, downloads and videos. The State’s regions, and the gains Anna’s Government has delivered for them, are central on the site. You can click on your region to see what Anna’s working on in your local area. And importantly, you can then go to Share Your Story and let the Premier know what you think.
Anna Bligh’s new website also uses social networks to help you connect with the Premier in the way you like best.
Read the Premier’s blog which will update readers about her plans or Queensland and what she’s up to. It will also be where we publish some of the stories of Queenslanders who write into “Share Your Story” on Anna4Qld.
While Barack Obama had an official Tumblr for his Inauguration, Anna Bligh is the first politician to have a presence on this popular new blogging network.
Friendfeed
Anna Bligh is the first politician in Australia to use FriendFeed to aggregate all her social networking presences into one RSS feed. If you use FriendFeed or an RSS reader this is a great way to keep up to date with what Anna Bligh is up to.
MySpace
Connect with the Premier by adding her as a friend and commenting on her profile.

You heard it here first guys! Anna Bligh - who has been Premier of Queensland for 17 months - has her own Tumblr! She’s the first Australian politician to have one. She also has to call an election before September, and if she wins she’ll be the first Australian woman to be elected Premier in her own right.
