MIT offers the course materials (lecture notes, audio lectures, problem sets, exams, assignments, study materials, etc. - you basically download the course) for roughly 1,800 classes FREE online! This is an awesome way to teach yourself a subject you never got to take or already love and want to learn more about. They offer EVERYTHING from Anthropology to Physics to Music Theory to Engineering. The list goes on. This is so cool. I’m totally going to hit up all the Literature and Psychology classes.
p.s. You’d be doing everyone who reads your blog a favor by reblogging this.
I would love to continue with my psych studies. Not that I’ll plan on needing it, but a career in psychology was my back-up plan. Even still, it’s something I thoroughly enjoy studying.
I used this as an example in a debate I had with my research class this week. They nearly all believed “The Internet” was undermining university education. That conversation - which I won’t bother to describe - made me feel like I was smacking my head against a brick wall.
