This year’s summer songs will most likely include “Golden Phone,” “Calculator,” and “Turn Me Well” by Micachu and the Shapes, “While You Wait for the Others” by Grizzly Bear, “Stillness is the Move” by Dirty Projectors, “Just the Same but Brand New” by St. Vincent, “Friends Are Gone” by Wavves, “Vacationing People” by Foreign Born, anything by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and anything on Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
Past summer songs included “Little Bit” by Lykke Li, “Calabria 2007” by Enur, “Teen Creeps” by No Age, “I Believe” by Simian Mobile Disco, “Miami Ice” by Icy Demons, “Far Away” by Cut Copy and this one, one of my favorites by French Kicks.
